P foods

tim & i went grocery shopping yesterday (finally!) and we had a lot to buy. we hadn't been in at least 2 weeks, and we purchased quite a bit. luckily tim was with me, because i was hungry when we went, and that doesn't usually end well. (although i've been much better recently about avoiding the impulse purchases, especially when i grocery shop on an empty stomach.)
we ended up with a lot of delicious fruits and veggies, as well as some of the  basics, like beans and pasta and tofu and so on. and somewhere during the trip or in between stores (we shop at 2), tim recalled that he was thinking the other day about all of his favorite foods, and how they all start with the letter P. i thought it was funny to think of a thing like that, and while we shopped, he kept recalling them... so here's your sesame street lesson for the day - the letter P:
peanut butter
pretzels
pizza
peppers
potatoes
pistachios
pickles
plantains
pecan/pumpkin pie
pineapple
pasta
and, aside from the pie, we have all of these items in our cupboard - i gotta keep my man happy! :)
