green thumb v.2

so here's an update on the herbs, just one week later!

the basil is thriving, and so are the chives (although i think the chives are weighing themselves down because the tops are so long!) the parsley is coming in - only three spouts so far, but they are by far some of the tallest in the bin!

here is a side view: the parsley is in the front. look how tall... probably close to 3"

here is the basil - i hate the little bits of seed still stuck to the tops, but don't want to pluck them off. since the sprouts are so tiny, i am afraid i would damage the leaves.

and the chives, just after being watered... it almost looks like lawn grass to me.
