well, it's official. i killed the herbs.
first, i tried to transplant what was left of the chives and parsley (last sunday). i had already killed the basil. the parsley was doing well for a while, but the chives didn't handle the move well. i killed the chives. and lsat night i got home from work, and suddenly the parsley had become wilted. arrrgh! how frustrating. tim is convinced that the seeds were not meant to last - he says that they are "sprouts only" seeds... i think he is just trying to make me feel better, and it's not working.
when i transplanted the two, i also planted new seeds in the pots, and re-planted the basil, which (hopefully) will start sprouting soon! we will see if they all do better this time around.
maybe they just wanted a pot of their own.
