sister and i took mom out wine tasting at a yummy little spot called studio vino for mother's day! she was totally surprised - we didn't tell her what the plan was until the morning of! sister got mom a funny card about mothering being 'a snap!'... first the nerves 'snap!', etc... i almost bought the same one.
but instead i chose one sort of related to the gift (a lucky find, i think!) the said something to the tune of
outside: "mother's day"
inside: "not traditionally a drinking holiday, but why the heck not!"
then we capped off the evening with dinner at one of our family favorites, rosita's.
what a great day! love you, mom!!!
