the house

so i don't remember if i already posted that we put an offer out on a house, but we did! right now, we are in the inspection and 'renegotiation' phase, where we found some things wrong with the house (nothing major), and our realtor is reviewing those to assess what the seller should correct before we agree to buy, or agree to disagree and either walk away, or continue with the purchase. it's an awesome experience, but nerve wracking, because we really like the foundation and the space, but we need to make sure the seller will agree to correct some 'defects' before we move in (like some electrical issues, fix the toilet that doesn't flush properly, etc).
my parents and sis, tim's sis & bro-in-law, and tim's dad were all available today, and all wanted to see the house we are pursuing, so the 8 of us trekked over to the lot to check it out (by peeping through all the windows and wandering around the property). they all liked it, which was good to hear, and all agreed that the home is very "tim & tiff" :)
keep your fingers crossed for a smooth transaction! if all goes well, we are expecting COE (close of escrow) on or before September 16!
