wedding details

so i have put wedding planning on hold for the last several weeks (or nearly 2 months now) as my new position at work has been taking up a lot of time. and besides, i think that tim was getting a bit burnt out on the planning (even though he says that he wasn't). but tonight i was refreshing my knot.com to-do's, and it seems i am a bit behind on a handful of items. it's now 6 months, 3 weeks, 2 days away.
it's time to put wedding planning at the top of my list, and i think this is when it's going to get really fun! (or overwhelming), because it's mostly details left. like; what veil, garter & other bridal accessories to buy, what wedding favors for guests, how to set up the decor (lights, candles, flowers, etc), choosing cake flavors and design, when and where to have the rehearsal dinner, and so on. and since tim is going to be in school, we'd like to get a lot of these aspects organized by mid-august (really?! well, fingers crossed) which is about 2 months before the big day.
i am catching up with mom and sis tomorrow (my day off work for the week), and i think we are going to shop for kami's dress and shoes (color & style still tbd) and maybe some other stuff - who knows where the day will take us!
