it's my first day off work in what seems like forever. i have been so busy working, i feel like i have not had time to do anything else! so i resolve, once again, to start posting more frequently, even if it's just to say "hi. hello. work is busy. blah blah blah."
so, in the news, president obama signed the new healthcare legislation this week. what this means for the united states, is that we join the rest of the world in having national health care available, but still have the option of a healthcare provider. basically, for me, this means nothing changes right now, because for arizona, 2010 & 2011 will implement changes for families (not me), seniors (not me), small businesses (not me), and state employees (tim, but not me - unless i switch to his coverage after we're married).
toyota is being sued by it's shareholders for the price of stock dropping, because they could have potentially lost millions of dollars due to the mis-information toyota shared about the faulty acceleration pedals. dumb - people with that much money annoy me.
americans are threatened with more death and terrorism by bin laden - what else is new.
jesse james is overtaking tiger woods' spotlight as a cheating husband, and is being rewarded for it by having playgirl offer him $500k to pose for the mag. ew - why??
and marijuana might get legalized in california this november, allowing adults over 21 to possess up to an ounce for personal use, as well as grow up to 25 square feet of cannabis per residence. crazy.
