so my to-do list from the 3rd is about half done, with a few of the remaining items in pending status presently... the office cleaning and ironing [should] get done today, and the other tasks are in progress, but not complete. oh well - it's my list, so i'll do what i feel like, and skip the rest! plus, i've accomplished other things this week that weren't on the list, so i'd say, including those, my completion rate is about 70%... good enough for me!
we hit up the bevmo 5cent wine sale on friday night. if you like wine, and you haven't been here yet, i highly recommend it! great wine, great prices - it really can't be beat. tim cleaned off half of a pantry shelf so we could fit it all :)
i got my haircut yesterday, which is always exciting. it was getting so long (middle of my back!) that it was to the unmanageable point... i just couldn't do anything with it anymore, and it was soo heavy. so i took off about 4" in the length, thinned it out a ton with shattering the bottom and adding shorter layers, and i had her throw in a little bang the sweeps over, about at my cheek bone. if you're looking for a new stylist, let me know! i was referred to her recently by a co-worker, and she is a little pricey, but amazing!
i am working on getting a date set with a photographer for an engagement shoot - we have been emailing back and forth trying to set something up... she is completely booked for weekends through January 2010 (i forgot to consider the family holiday photos and fall/winter weddings happening now) so i have to get back to her with a possible weekday in december to get together (as soon as i get my work schedule).
and... drum roll please...

our wedding date (and location) are set! there is so much included that we don't have to worry about coordinating ourselves, which is a huge stress-reliever. tim & i have been eying this place for a little while now, so me and mom went on thursday afternoon to make a deposit and sign the property contract! it feels great to have this selected; it's the establishing piece of the wedding puzzle! once we have told our families more about it, i'll provide further details about the venue.
next selection is the dress...
