went dress shopping with mom today, and we were able to deduct the majority of gowns available, and narrow down our options! we figured out pretty much exactly what style, size, shape, cut, color, fabric, train & neckline my dress should be; now finding the one that has it all in a decent price range without having to get a ton of alterations or go custom... that's the trick!
finding a nice dress shop is almost as difficult as locating a dress inside. i learned (but already should have guessed) that dress shopping in scottsdale is the worst! they have pushy employees, snobby customers, and the dresses aren't that great. besides that, only a trust-fund kid could afford them. it was pretty much what i had anticipated, but still [with one exception] disappointing.
and so continues the search...
