(i had saved this entry a while back, and never got around to posting it until now. you can see a picture of the couch "in action" here.)
some of you have seen this, and some of you haven't, but this is our amazing new couch!
tim & i used to go into crate & barrel and i would drool over this couch, insisting i had to have it, but we kept convincing ourselves that it was too much - too expensive, too white, etc. but i just had to have it. seriously. i felt like if i didn't get it, it was going to be one of those things where you say, "remember when i really, really, really wanted that couch, and we never got it? dammit! we should have bought that couch!"
i try to not let material objects rule my life (this is where some of you start laughing), but this was one of those pieces that after you buy it, you have it forever. when i'm 80 i'll still have this couch. okay, maybe not until im 80, but you get the point.
i love the retro-modern style of it, the seat is really deep, it's long enough for tim to lay across without dangling limbs, and its eco-friendly too! and although she looks pretty naked here , we have dressed her up a bit with pillows and throws, some end tables and a lamp since this photo (when it was delivered in august).
