i really cannot, for the life of me, remember what we did for new year's eve last year. i must've gone to bed before midnight. two years ago tim & i went to tempe town lake and listened to the bare naked ladies play a sweet set. neither of us were really into the band, but we got cheap tickets, and ended up really liking their show! they were super entertaining, but it was so cold outside, it was damp, my beer kept getting bumped by the drunkards around us, and by the time 12 came around, i don't think i could feel my fingers or toes.
this year, we don't want to be out amongst the drunk drivers, and we prefer to stay inside (vs. outdoors in the chill) without having to pay any money (cover charge), so we are making our own fun at home tonight. this way, we don't have to worry about taxis, or cash, or wasted a-holes bumping into us all night long... so tim picked up some good champagne (veuve clicquot ponsardin) and some snacks / finger foods, and i picked up a bottle of korbel (to mix with oj & cranberry juice) for the evening. wow! we sound like we're married already! lol... it's not ideal, but it's fun enough for us! and most everyone else we know already has plans for the night, otherwise we thought about having a party at our place. but anyways, that's what we're doing, hope you're doing something fun (& safe) to ring in the new year! 2010, you're just around the corner! (less than 5 hours to go!)
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
cheers, from tiff & tim
Tiffany, even I can remember what you did last new year's eve, your dad and me stopped by your apt after the Coyotes game and then Tim and Dorothy came by and we all celebrated in Glendale :) Happy New Year, 2010 and what a great year this will be! Luv you, Mom
