so does anybody know what we will actually call next year? oh-ten? twenty-ten? two-thousand-ten? ten? it seems like a lot of work to say the entire four-digit year when most of our lifetime we have only been expressing each year by the last two digits; eighty-nine, ninety-six, etc. and now, for the last nine years we've been "oh"ing the years - oh-two, oh-eight, etc. i'll bet oh-ten sticks for a while...
so here are some of the things that happened this year (so far):
had my golden birthday
stayed at bed & breakfast for the first time
became a vegetarian
transfered to a new market for work
went to a diamondbacks game
moved for the 5th time in 6 years
went to a wedding on a boat in vermont
bought a sweet new couch
got engaged on our 6 year anniversary
hiked the red rocks in sedona
visited montezuma's castle
met a former NHL player at a coyotes game
ate tofurky
looking forward to what the last 29 days of 2009 may bring!
