today was an FML kind of day.

don't you love when you're the supervisor, and your manager is on vacation, and your assistant manager has the day off, and while you're "in charge"and there are a bazillion customers, and just when you think you are getting back to normal after the last crazy hour, your manager's boss comes strolling through the door with one of his equally important colleagues which you have never met before, and they start asking you, yes you, about your goals and your achieved numbers for the day, and why the schedule for today was written the way that it was (even thought you aren't in charge of scheduling), and how you're going to make your goals for the rest of the day, and what your plan is for the following day, and that he will be back tomorrow to make sure that you are following through with it -- even though none of this is supposed to be part of your job responsibilities. yeah, these kind of days are my favorite.
