new camera

on monday this week, i got a new camera! i am super excited about it, and cannot wait to figure out how it all works... it's a digital slr, canon EOS rebel T2i and it's beautiful! i tried to take a picture of it with my trusty fujifilm finepix f20 (which i've been using for the last i dunno how many years), but it would not do justice to the fine new machine. in comparison to the pictures i've already taken with the canon, the fujifilm is taking sad excuses for photos... i think it's time to retire the 6.3 megapixel for a while, although it is much lighter to carry than the new one, and see what i can shoot with 18 mp's.

on wednesday, tim & i went to my parents for dinner, and i brought the camera to test it out - never would have thought the first few snaps on it would have been of my sisters cats; clearly i haven't mastered the 'proper' settings yet, but here they are. nietzsche (pronounced knee-cha) is by far the more photogenic (i think), but maybe it's because nesta (the black one) looks like she's telling you she's more impressed with anything but you...
