honeymoon

well, we've done it - we bought plane tickets and booked hotels for a week...
we are finally taking a honeymoon! :)
i am so excited, and tim is too... we really wanted to go to europe, but the tickets alone were close to $4000 for round-trip for the two of us, and while i know you all think we are rollin' in the $$$ (just kidding!) we aren't, and we just couldn't justify that kind of money right now. or really, ever. and since everyone and their brother's cousin goes to hawaii for a honeymoon... we are going to CANADA! exciting, eh?!
instead of dropping 4K, we are paying a fraction of that to go to quebec for 8 days! it will be the first vacation either of us have taken since our portland trip last year just before christmas - add it up, folks - that's 7 months since i've taken more than 1 day off of work. ugh... i'm ready for a break, to say the least.
and besides, we deserve it :)
