brita & no.5

this really cool company, preserve, will recycle brita filters & no. 5 plastics (like yogurt cups and togo containers)! they make all kinds of products, from razors and toothbrushes to cups and cutting boards, all using recycled and recyclable goods.
check it all out at their website. consider the impact of 12 brita filters a year recycled instead of in a landfill. the short-term impact of shipping them to be recycled outweighs them sitting in a landfill for life... give it a try! and recycle everything you can, every day... your future children will thank you :)
