hoppy easter!

get it?! 'hoppy' easter? :) oh, i crack myself up...
so today is easter, and this is the second year in a row (and ever, actually) that easter has not been a family event. we've just been busy, or it's been difficult to get together, or whatever... it's not really a huge deal. now, don't get me wrong, the resurrection of jesus is definitely something to commemorate, but i think that jelly beans, hollow chocolate bunnies, plastic eggs filled with money/goodies hidden by an imaginary giant rabbit, and yummy food are just as good a reason to get together and celebrate on a beautiful spring sunday.
we had a delightful brunch for ourselves today - a tasty tofu-scramble, country potatoes, and maple veggie-sausage patties with coffee and fresh-squeezed oj - yum! and we've just been enjoying the wonderful weather today.
